Your new home has been completely renovated to look modern, feel comfortable, and perform efficiently in the highly ranked Riverside school district! It is convieniently located within walking distance to a shopping center, library, and park. In addition, feel safe and confident knowing that the hospital, fire station, and police station are less than a mile away. The house includes: -Completely renovated kitchen-- featuring new stainless steel LG smart appliances, including a French-door refrigerator, which are cradled by all new cabinets with soft close doors which are topped with luxurious granite counter tops. -Freshly repainted walls and newly refinished natural-colored hardwood floors flow warmly from the kitchen, living room, hallway and three bedrooms. -Completely regutted bathroom, including new vanity, toilet, and bathtub, featuring a striking herringbone flooring pattern and accented subway shower wall tiles. -Newly insulated attic with open-cell foam insulation translates to cheaper heating/cooling energy bills during Chicago's variable seasons. -Newly added ceiling can lights with dimmable light switches allow you to set the mood for any gathering, while a completely rewired electric system and replaced service panel allow you to run all the latest appliances at the same time without the worry of blowing a fuse. -Newly replaced sewer / storm drain, overhead sump pump, and copper plumbing/PVCs can put your mind at ease in knowing that your pipes won’t clog and that your basement won't flood. So bring your friends over to enjoy a drink at the striking penny-wall wet bar in the finished basement or enjoy time barbecuing on the patio in your fenced-in back yard with newly resodded grass.
I love the large stainless steel, under-mounted sink. It is a small thing but I love how the lip of the sink is hidden beneath the counter and I love how I can wash large pots in the sink without fighting with a sink divider. This has become a must-have for me on all future homes! I love the spacious open concept kitchen/living room and I love how light flows through the house at dawn and dusk when all the curtains and all the bedroom doors are open. These two things make this house feel incredibly comfortable and homey. I love how close we are to 290/294. On a Sunday morning, with no traffic, we can get to our favorite breakfast spot in the Loop in less than 20 mins!
