Flat Fee MLS Contact Info: Who gets listed?

Why the MLS shows Beycome as the main contact:

The MLS Listing Service is a private database created by real estate brokers and agents, for real estate brokers and agents. Because of this structure, the MLS does not allow a non-licensed individual to appear as the primary contact on a listing. Only a licensed brokerage can hold that position.

As a result, Beycome appears as the main point of contact on your MLS listing. This setup applies to all flat fee MLS listings and is a standard MLS requirement, not a limitation specific to your property.

Owner control still comes first

Even though the MLS requires a licensed brokerage as the main contact, this is still your home and your transaction. You keep full control over the selling or renting process.

Beycome makes it clear to buyer agents and professionals that any interested buyer or renter must contact the owner directly. To make this happen, your contact information appears in the Broker Remarks section of the MLS, in showing time (where available) and on “Main Contact Information ( when available) directly on the MLS..

This section is visible only to individuals with MLS access, which usually means licensed real estate agents and brokers. That’s where professionals look for direct instructions, owner contact details, and showing guidance.

How syndication websites handle contact information

Because the MLS feeds listings to public websites, our brokerage ( Beycome Brokerage Realty LLC or sisters companies) appears as the main contact on sites that syndicate MLS data, such as Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, Century21, Coldwell Banker, IDX sites, and others.

This does not block you from communicating with buyers. When we receive an inquiry about your property, we immediately pass it to you. We notify you by email and through your Beycome dashboard, and we also provide the interested buyer or renter with your contact information so you can communicate directly.

Think of us as your support layer

The easiest way to think about this setup is simple: we act like your secretaries. We handle the MLS rules, receive incoming inquiries, route them to you fast, and make sure nothing gets lost.

You stay in control of pricing, negotiations, and decisions. We handle the structure, compliance, and communication flow to make your closing process smoother, faster, and fair.
