Information We Collect

Information Provided at Registration

In order to register for a beycome Account to access and use the Service, you must enter your name and e-mail address and create a password. This User Data is necessary for us to provide you with your Account and verify your identity upon sign in.  

Alternatively, we provide the option to register and sign in using your Facebook or Google account. By choosing to register for an Account through one of these third parties, you acknowledge you will be taken to that third party’s website to sign in through its service. We utilize framing techniques to provide this option to you, while preserving the look and feel of the Website and Service. In such cases, all information, including Personal Information, you provide in the frame is being provided to the applicable third party.  You acknowledge that beycome has no control over how these third parties operate or process Personal Information. Your Personal Information will be collected and processed by these third parties according to each third party’s independent privacy policies. Upon registration, the applicable third party will provide us with your name, e-mail address, language preference, and profile picture so that we can provide you with your Account and verify your identity upon sign in.  

Payment Information

In order to facilitate the processing of payments, you will need to provide your name, billing address, residential address, and financial instrument or institution information.  If your account information changes (e.g., account number, routing number, expiration date) as a result of re-issuance or otherwise, we may acquire that information from our financial services partner or your bank and update your information on file through our Payment Services.  This User Data is necessary for us to process your payments as directed.

Supplemental Information

You may decide to provide supplemental information in order to facilitate the buying, selling, and/or renting of a Property, which may include the physical address of a Property, your physical address, your birthdate, a copy of your driver’s license or other government issued ID, your living preferences, photographs, and videos, as well as reviews, ratings, tips, check-ins, comments, likes, and bookmarks.  This User Data is necessary for us to provide the Service and fulfill your requests to provide supplemental information.

UPON UPLOADING ANY IMAGES THROUGH THE WEBSITE OR SERVICE, YOU CERTIFY THAT YOU ARE THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER OF THE IMAGES OR HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER OF THE IMAGES TO GRANT BEYCOME A LICENSE.  IF YOU CANNOT CERTIFY THE FOREGOING WITH RESPECT TO ANY IMAGE, DO NOT UPLOAD THE IMAGE.

Information Collected Automatically

Generally

In order to provide functionality to and improve our Website and Service, when you interact with the Website or Service, we automatically collect certain information, including Personal Information, on your use of the Service. The information we collect includes, without limitation, browser type, internet protocol (IP) address, mobile network operator, browser language, operating system, domain names, server logs, pageviews, dates and times of use, activity on the Website, access times, time spent using the Website, referring web sites or applications, links and areas accessed, advertisements displayed and clicked on, logs, mobile device identifier numbers, machine ID, browser ID, account identifiers, your age, gender, employer name, your title, your precise or approximate geographic location as determined by the device you are using, your interests, the kinds of products and services you have inquired about, used, or purchased from us, search results and search terms, usage, preferences, interests, favorites,  and online or offline behavior of our Users as such may relate to the Website or Service.

Mobile Use

If you access and use the Service through a mobile device or through a mobile application, we automatically collect certain User Data, including Personal Information, which may include, without limitation, your mobile device identifiers, your mobile carrier, available wireless networks, your physical location, sensor data, carrier and network data, information about nearby users and devices and other information available about the mobile device, any applications installed, and any other information that may be available through the operating system. We collect this User Data for security purposes and in order to improve our Website and Service. If you wish to no longer allow us to track your physical location on your mobile device, you may be able to turn off this functionality within your device settings. Under certain circumstances, User Data collected from your mobile device may be integral to the embedded functionality of the Website and therefore cannot be removed or turned off. If that is the case, your only recourse is to stop using the Website and Service.

You further acknowledge and agree that access to and use of the Service through a mobile device may subject you to additional data, voice, SMS and/or other plan charges from your mobile carrier.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Like most websites and applications, beycome uses HTML, Flash, and device cookies, beacons, clear GIFs or pixels, and other similar tracking technologies to assist us in making your online experience more individualized and to improve and to prevent abuse of our Website and Service. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

A cookie is a file that is placed in the memory or storage of your device by a server. Cookies are used for convenience and to save you time when you visit or use beycome repeatedly. We use beacons in conjunction with cookies to understand how Users interact with our Website and Services. A beacon is a tiny image file used to monitor your journey around a single website or a collection of websites. Beacons are commonly used by websites and advertising networks to monitor traffic. Generally, any electronic image, as part of a web page or application, including banner ads, can act as a beacon.

An embedded script is a programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Website and Service, such as the links you click on or online areas you visited. The code is temporarily downloaded from our server or a third-party server to your device.

Non-Personal Information

We collect and create de-identified and aggregated information and other non-Personal Information, which does not identify an individual personally (“Non-Personal Information”). You agree that beycome owns without restriction all Non-Personal Information.

Because Non-Personal Information cannot be used to personally identify you, we may use such information for any lawful purpose.

How We Share and Disclose Information

Generally

Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, share, or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to third parties. In general, we share your Personal Information with other Users, website hosting partners, and other trusted third parties who assist us in operating and providing our Service or otherwise conducting our business or servicing you, as reasonably necessary for the provision of the Service. Other Users

In order to provide you with the Service, we must share certain of your Personal Information with other Users as reasonably necessary to meet your requests. For instance, we will provide your name and contact information to the User you decide to purchase, sell, or rent Property from. If the other User requests supplemental information from you, or you wish to provide unprompted supplemental information to the other User, we will share that supplemental information with that User according to your request. This information sharing is necessary to provide you with the Service. We will never share your Account name and password or your financial information with another User.

Additionally, we offer Users the opportunity to invite others to use the Service by asking Users to provide the Personal Information of potential users. We may use Personal Information of potential users to contact these potential users and invite them to use the Service, to track the success of our referral program, and for the purpose of verification of the Personal Information provided. We will not use Personal Information about potential users for any other purpose unless the potential user becomes a User, in which case the new User will be subject to the Terms and this Privacy Policy. If a potential user wishes to remove his or her Personal Information, such potential user may opt out using the appropriate link appearing in the body of such email or newsletter, if available, or by contacting us directly at unsubscribe@beycome.com.

Third Party Service Providers

We may share your Personal Information with third party service providers or other trusted third party companies and individuals to provide and improve the Website and the Service, process payments, analyze use of our Service, perform database management, perform analytics and produce statistics on the Service, provide communications and hosting services, enhance network security, aid in providing technical and customer support, perform quality assurance testing, perform marketing and other functions, and deliver other requested services and features to you. These third party service providers may include, but are not limited to, payment processors, internet service providers, and cloud computing providers. These third-party service providers are contractually bound to only process the limited Personal Information we provide them to perform specific tasks at our direction. We only share or sell the minimum amount of your Personal Information necessary to fulfill your request or inquiry. We provide this functionality strictly for the convenience of our Users, and we consider the provision of this functionality as part of the Service. By sharing your information with such third parties at your request, or by such third parties contacting you, beycome is in no way endorsing or recommending you engage or use any such third parties.

Subsidiaries and Affiliates

We may share your Personal Information with beycome subsidiaries and/or affiliates for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy. Our subsidiaries and affiliates are bound to maintain the Personal Information they may receive from beycome in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Business Transfers

As we develop our business, from time to time beycome might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event, Personal Information may be part of the transferred assets. You acknowledge and agree that any successor to or acquirer of beycome (or its assets) will continue to have the right to use your Personal Information and other information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. beycome uses Google Maps/Earth, including the Google Maps API(s), in order to provide Users with an enhanced and positive experience. Information on Minors

You must be 18 years or older to use any part of the Website or Service, and you may not enter into any agreements with us or other Users unless you are 18 years or older. We do not specifically or knowingly provide or market our Service to persons under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect or otherwise process Personal Information of persons under the age of 18. CAN-SPAM Act

We are committed to being compliant with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (“CAN-SPAM Act”). beycome may, at our sole discretion and at any time, amend this Privacy Policy. You should review this Privacy Policy for amendments each time you access or use our Website or Service. For your convenience, we state at the top of this Privacy Policy the last date this Privacy Policy was amended. If this Privacy Policy is amended, the amended Privacy Policy will take effect immediately for all Users.
