MLSs accept video and 3D tours as links, not uploads. Vimeo works on every MLS, YouTube only on some, and most 3D tour formats are supported. Tours must be unbranded, with no contact info, logos or people, and you need written permission to reuse media from another listing.

Accepted formats
- Video: a Vimeo link works on every MLS, and some MLSs also accept YouTube links.
- 3D tours: most 3D tour links are supported.
- Links only: video and 3D tours go on the MLS as a URL, not as an uploaded file.
- Shoot horizontally (landscape): it displays better on MLS systems and real estate websites.
Branding rules
MLS video must be unbranded: no contact information, websites, text overlays, watermarks, logos or financial information, and no people, including in lifestyle or costume scenes. Don’t use editing or AI tools to change what the property looks like: MLS rules ban misleading videos and tours.
Copyright
Only use video or 3D tours you made yourself or have written permission to use, and keep that permission in case the MLS asks. Reusing media from another listing or from the internet can lead to MLS fines and copyright claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
