Congratulations! Your home is officially on the market. Here are the answers to what sellers ask most in the first days after going live.
1. Where your listing appears
- Is my listing live on the MLS? Yes, your listing is now active on the MLS.
- When will it show up on Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin? Give it a couple of hours. Third-party sites sync from the MLS on their own schedules, and over that window your listing will syndicate to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, and hundreds of other sites.
- Do I need to do anything to make that happen? No, syndication happens automatically once your listing is active on the MLS.
2. Making changes to your listing
How do I change my price, photos, or description? Log in to Beycome and open your dashboard’s Listings page. Click Edit > Edit Property to update your price, photos, public remarks, and many more fields.
I can’t find the field I want to change. Where is it? Check the Custom Request section on that same page — that’s where the less common changes live.
Can I add an open house? Yes, add it from the same Listings page on your dashboard.
3. Showings
How will buyers schedule showings? Buyers’ agents may contact you directly to schedule. Showings requested through Beycome show up on your dashboard, and depending on your MLS, requests can also come through a showing app such as ShowingTime or BrokerBay.
What’s expected of me? Respond quickly to potential buyer’s/agents and keep the property ready to show.
4. Inquiries
Where will buyer questions arrive? Messages can come from agents or independent buyers three ways: through a showing app (ShowingTime, BrokerBay, etc.), through Beycome, or directly to you by email and phone — so keep an eye on all three.
How do I reply to an inquiry that came through Beycome? Open your Beycome dashboard and you can view and respond to it right there.
5. Offers
Where do offers show up? Offers submitted through the Beycome website appear in Dashboard > Offers with Accept, Counter, and Decline buttons.
I got an offer by email. Is that normal? Yes, most offers arrive by email, either forwarded from offer@beycome.com or sent to you directly by the buyer or the buyer’s agent.
Why doesn’t an offer in my dashboard have the Accept, Counter, and Decline buttons? Offers forwarded by Beycome appear in Dashboard > Offers without the buttons. To respond to one of those, reply directly to the buyer or their agent.
What about an offer sent straight to my email? It won’t appear in your Beycome Dashboard, so make sure to keep an eye on the email you used for your account and respond directly to any buyers or their agents that contact you directly.
6. After you accept an offer
I accepted an offer! What do I do first? Update your listing’s status to Under Contract immediately. Go to your Beycome dashboard, select Status on your property, upload the signed contract, and save.
The contract or closing details changed. Now what? Repeat the same process. Update the status and upload the revised contract. This keeps the MLS current and helps avoid MLS fines.
What happens between now and closing? Watch your inbox — once your sale is under contract, we’ll send you our road-to-closing guide covering everything from inspection to closing day.
Sell, buy, and close. Keep more. Every step.
