What is Deep-Seal Floor Drain?

A deep-seal floor drain is a type of drain that is designed to prevent water from accumulating in the area around it. Deep-seal floor drains are commonly used in basements and other areas that are prone to flooding, and they are typically installed in a depression in the floor that is lower than the surrounding area. The depression helps to keep water away from the surrounding floor and walls, and the drain allows the water to be carried away from the building.
