What is Domicile?

Domicile refers to a person's primary residence or the place where they live and intend to stay for an extended period of time. Domicile is often used to determine an individual's legal rights and responsibilities, such as their ability to vote or their tax liability. Domicile may be different from an individual's place of work or their place of birth, and it may be established through factors such as the location of an individual's home, their family, and their personal and professional ties.
