What is Georgian Style?

Georgian style is a type of architecture that is characterized by its symmetry, elegant lines, and classical influences. The style originated in England in the 18th century and is named after the reigns of the four King Georges who ruled England during that time period. Georgian architecture is known for its balanced facades, Palladian windows, and ornate doorways, columns, and pediments. This style is mostly used in residential buildings and government buildings in the United States.
