What does Non-Liquid Asset mean?

A non-liquid asset is an asset that cannot easily be converted into cash. Examples of non-liquid assets include real estate, collectibles, and certain types of investments. These assets may be more difficult to sell or may take longer to sell than liquid assets, such as cash or stocks. In Real estate, this can refer to property that is not easy to sell and may take long to find a buyer.
