Q: What is Quit-Claim Deed?

Quit-claim deeds are generally used as a quick and easy way to transfer property with minimal legal formalities. It's important to note that a quitclaim deed only conveys whatever interest the grantor has in the property, if the grantor doesn't have any interest in the property, then the grantee will not acquire any interest either.
