What is Real Estate Attorney?

A real estate attorney is a legal professional who specializes in the laws and regulations related to real estate transactions. They help clients navigate the legal aspects of buying, selling and renting properties, such as reviewing and drafting purchase agreements, researching property titles and handling closing documents. Real estate attorneys also help clients with legal issues such as zoning and environmental regulations. They may charge an hourly rate or a flat fee for their services. It is also important to note that a real estate attorney can provide guidance on the legal details of real estate transactions, but they cannot act as a real estate agent, they can only advise on the legal side of it.
