Q: What is Rural Housing Service?

The Rural Housing Service (RHS) is a government agency that operates under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). It provides a variety of housing assistance programs, including loans, grants, and technical assistance, to low-income and moderate-income families in rural areas. These programs are designed to help these families access safe and affordable housing, and also to provide funding for the repair and rehabilitation of existing housing. The RHS also provides rental assistance to low-income individuals and families in rural areas, and it provides funding for the construction of new housing in rural communities.
