What's a Survey?

A survey is a detailed study of a piece of land that is conducted by a professional land surveyor. Surveys typically include a detailed map of the property, including information about the location of boundaries, structures, and other physical features. Surveys also include information about any easements, rights of way, or other legal agreements that affect the property. Surveys are often required for real estate transactions, construction projects, and boundary disputes. They are also used to determine property lines and boundaries, and to ensure that the property being purchased or developed is in compliance with zoning and building regulations.
