Q: What is Total Expense Ratio?

The Total Expense Ratio (TER) is a measure of the total annual operating expenses of a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund (ETF), expressed as a percentage of its average net assets. The TER includes management fees, administrative costs, and other expenses related to running the fund. The lower the TER, the less it costs to invest in the fund, and the higher the TER, the more it costs.
