Q: What is Undisclosed Heir?

An undisclosed heir refers to a person who is entitled to inherit property or assets but is not known or acknowledged by the deceased person's legal representatives or family members. This can happen when a person dies without a will, or when a will is not properly executed or filed. An undisclosed heir may come forward after the distribution of the deceased person's assets and claim a share of the inheritance.
