What is Va Loans?

A VA loan is a type of mortgage loan that is guaranteed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). These loans are designed to help veterans, active military members, and their families purchase a home. One of the main benefits of a VA loan is that it does not require a down payment, making it more accessible for many people. Additionally, the VA does not require mortgage insurance, which can save borrowers money over the life of the loan. To qualify for a VA loan, a borrower must have served in the military or be an active duty service member.
