What is Walk-Through?

A walk-through is a final inspection of a property that is typically done before the closing of a real estate transaction. During a walk-through, the buyer and their agent will visit the property to make sure that it is in the same condition as when the purchase agreement was signed and that any repairs or improvements that were agreed upon have been made. The walk-through is also an opportunity for the buyer to identify any issues or problems that were not previously disclosed. It is also an opportunity for the buyer to make sure that all appliances, systems, and fixtures are in working condition, before signing the final documents.
