A Smarter Way to Sell Your Home in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg, Florida plays by its own real estate rules — and they bear little resemblance to the rest of the Sunshine State. Once written off as Tampa’s quieter, slower neighbor across the bay, St. Pete has emerged as one of the most genuinely exciting urban real estate stories in the American South. The Grand Central and Edge districts have drawn a creative class of buyers who came for the murals and stayed for the waterfront. Downtown St. Pete and the Old Northeast remain among the most coveted addresses on Florida’s Gulf Coast. And buyers arriving steadily from the Northeast, the Midwest, and Canada are entering the St. Pete market with serious purchasing power and a clear-eyed view of what this city’s trajectory means for long-term value.
In a market this layered, two factors determine how well your sale goes: how precisely you price your home, and how broadly it gets exposed to the right buyers. The third variable — one entirely within your control — is how much equity you actually walk away with.
Today’s St. Petersburg sellers are scrutinizing what they’re giving up more carefully than ever before. For Sale By Owner (FSBO) platforms have matured into serious, fully equipped tools that give homeowners real MLS access, direct visibility with buyers and their agents, and a concrete path to protecting more of their proceeds at the closing table.
The challenge? Not every FSBO platform delivers what its homepage promises.
We evaluated every major FSBO option available to St. Petersburg sellers — cutting through the noise by comparing actual pricing, MLS coverage depth, platform tools, fee transparency, and the real-world experience of getting a home sold in this specific market.
After a thorough review, one platform stood above every other option:
✅ Beycome — St. Petersburg‘s #1 For Sale By Owner Website.
With a true $99 flat fee, zero percentage-based closing costs, full MLS coverage across Tampa Bay and Pinellas County, and a platform purpose-built for self-directed sellers, Beycome is the most complete and cost-effective FSBO solution in St. Petersburg for 2026.
What follows is our full breakdown of the best FSBO websites available to St. Petersburg, Florida sellers in 2026.

Why FSBO Websites Matter for St. Petersburg Home Sellers
In St. Pete’s market, MLS access is not optional — it is the foundational difference between a home that sells efficiently and one that sits idle while motivated buyers scroll right past it. Homes listed on the MLS sell faster and for 17% more than off-market properties. When a buyer’s agent opens their search tools each morning, they’re not browsing classified ads or scrolling neighborhood Facebook groups. They’re working the MLS — and from there, listings automatically flow to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, Trulia, and hundreds of brokerage websites covering all of the Tampa Bay metro and beyond.
Free FSBO platforms offer a web presence, but they carry a fundamental blind spot: listings that never reach the MLS are invisible to the 88% of buyers who work with agents. In a city where seasonal buyer surges arrive with clockwork predictability, relocation buyers pour in from colder states year-round, and correctly priced homes in desirable pockets like Crescent Lake or Kenwood draw multiple offers within days, cutting off the largest segment of your buyer pool before the first showing is a costly and entirely avoidable mistake.
Paid FSBO platforms with MLS access bridge that gap. They put your home in front of both direct buyers and the full active agent community — without requiring you to pay a listing commission to do it. In St. Petersburg, where property values across Pinellas County have appreciated substantially over the past several years and neighborhoods like Snell Isle and Coffee Pot Bayou command genuine premiums, that commission savings isn’t a rounding error. It’s a number that matters.

# 1 Beycome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Best Overall FSBO Website in St. Petersburg, Florida
⭐ Best for Pricing, MLS Exposure & Technology
Beycome is built specifically for sellers who understand the value of MLS exposure and have no interest in surrendering a percentage of their sale price to obtain it. The model is straightforward: pay $99 once, receive a full MLS listing with no additional fees at closing, and manage your entire transaction through a dashboard designed around how Florida real estate deals actually get done.
For St. Petersburg sellers, this has real teeth. The St. Pete market draws one of the most diverse and motivated buyer pools on Florida’s Gulf Coast — remote professionals relocating from Chicago, New York, and the Pacific Northwest; snowbirds and retirees drawn to the area’s year-round sunshine and walkable waterfront; international buyers attracted to Florida’s favorable tax environment; and local move-up buyers trading into the city’s coveted historic neighborhoods and newly developed bayfront communities. These buyers are represented by active, MLS-dependent agents. Beycome puts your home directly in front of that entire audience the moment your listing goes live.
- One-time $99 MLS listing with no percentage fees at closing
- Direct buyer and agent communication tools
- Built-in offer management and disclosure handling
- Seller dashboard optimized for FSBO transactions
- Full South Florida MLS coverage
Beycome’s listings appear across Florida’s major MLS databases, including:
- My Florida Regional MLS (MFRMLS) — the primary MLS for the Tampa Bay and Central Florida region
- Miami MLS
- Beaches MLS
- Florida Gulf Coast MLS
- Florida Keys MLS
And reach communities throughout the region — from St. Petersburg proper and Gulfport to Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Pinellas Park, and across Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando counties.
FSBO sellers, real estate investors, and anyone who wants maximum Tampa Bay exposure at the lowest total cost.
From Delrae on Google Reviews:
This is the best company to do business with! I ran into questions and Sam helped every step of the way. I highly recommend this company for listing your real estate and closing your sale! Beycome is the best.
2 – ForSaleByOwner.com ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The original FSBO brand — free but limited
ForSaleByOwner.com is a well-known FSBO brand that offers both free and paid listing options, but does not include MLS upgrades or syndication. For sellers with strong marketing skills and an existing buyer network, it can be a useful starting point at no cost.
Pros: Free to list, well-known platform, easy to use, no hidden fees
Cons: No MLS access means your listing won’t reach buyer agents, who account for the overwhelming majority of closed purchase transactions in St. Pete’s active market
Ideal for: Experienced sellers with an existing buyer pool or strong personal marketing capabilities
There are no online customer reviews for ForSaleByOwner.com from trusted sources that we can find.
3 – Zillow FSBO ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Maximum brand recognition, minimal agent reach
Zillow is the largest real estate website in the country, pulling in over 231 million monthly visitors. You can list your house on Zillow for free, and it will also automatically appear on Trulia.
Pros: Free, massive consumer audience, unlimited photos, easy cancellation
Cons: No MLS exposure means buyer agents — the professionals driving the majority of closed transactions across the St. Pete and Pinellas County market — will not see your listing in their primary search tools
Ideal for: Sellers who want to test the water at no cost before committing to a paid MLS listing
There are no online customer reviews for Zillow FSBO from trusted sources that we can find.
4 – FSBO.com ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Simple, no-frills listing platform
FSBO.com is one of the older platforms in the space, offering basic listing packages with optional MLS add-ons. It’s a straightforward option for sellers who prefer simplicity over feature depth.
Pros: Simple setup, recognizable name, optional MLS upgrade available
Cons: MLS access is not included by default, which can meaningfully increase your total cost. The platform’s tools lag behind more modern competitors.
Ideal for: Sellers who want a familiar, no-frills platform and are comfortable sourcing their own buyers
From Soldier Mom on Trustpilot:
EXTREMELY BLESSED to have found FSBO COM. I WILL NEVER GO WITH ANOTHER REALTOR AGAIN. They have assisted me EVERY Step of the way and on a Sunday!!! “I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!”
Setting up with FSBO.Com was remarkable easy- until the handoff to the actual broker they selected to provide the MLS listing. This broker wanted my credit card information before he would list my property on MLS. I had already paid FSBO.com the full fee for the service plan I had selected. When I told the realtor I saw no reason to give him my credit card info, he stated “much like when you check into a hotel, you leave your credit card information for any incidental charges…” What Incidental charges? you get my credit card information IF I decide to buy something extra, not INCASE- in this online world. FSBO did refund my charge but be aware
5 – ByOwner.com ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cost-effective platform with MLS syndication
ByOwner.com positions itself as a budget-friendly flat fee MLS service with syndication to major portals. Plans range from basic listings to more comprehensive packages with marketing support.
Pros: MLS access included, listings syndicated to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, and Trulia, responsive customer support
Cons: Pricing structures and feature sets vary considerably by plan and market, making total cost comparisons less straightforward
Ideal for: Sellers who want MLS exposure at a competitive price point and have limited need for advanced platform features or transaction support

6 – Fizber ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Straightforward MLS listing at a mid-range price
Fizber offers a clean, no-closing-fee MLS listing with a 12-month term and unlimited photos for around $295.
Pros: 12-month listing, unlimited photos, no closing fee, MLS access included
Cons: Higher price than entry-level competitors for a comparable basic listing. Limited tools and support beyond the MLS post
Ideal for: Sellers who want a longer listing term and are comfortable with a no-frills workflow
Lynn Chapman at Fizber.com assisted me with many facets of my home selling process. Her top notch professionalism was surpassed only by her amazing personality, and caring nature toward helping me get my property onto the MLS. She made the process effortless. She was very attentive and helpful every step of the way, from listing to closing! I would recommend anyone seeking help on selling or listing their property to contact Lynn Chapman at Fizber.com !
Buyer beware. I dont believe this rating on Trust Pilot. I am from the mortgage industry and you can have anyone do a rating. Trust Pilot is a good place but Fizber is so corrupt ~ they would not refund my money even though when my listing hit the MLS the photos doubled and tripled and disappeared. Use a realtor or do Zillow dont do this company. They have a disclaimer on their site once you buy that says if your photos dont load email them to us, that is NOT what I paid for I paid to do it myself and also to have control. Their system obviously doesnt integrate with the MLS correctly. Also my listing information was a mess, I had professionals I know calling saying get that off and Fizber agreed it was a mess and took it off the MLS but refused to give me my money back. Criminals!
7 – Homecoin ⭐️⭐️
Affordable MLS access with a streamlined approach
Homecoin offers one of the most affordable entry points for MLS access, with basic plans starting around $95–$149. The platform is straightforward and includes call forwarding and maximum MLS photos on its entry-level plans — features that some competitors charge extra for.
Pros: Low upfront cost, transparent pricing, call forwarding included, maximum photos on base plan
Cons: No licensed broker support available, which less experienced FSBO sellers will likely find limiting in a transaction-intensive market like St. Pete where Florida disclosure requirements and contract nuances carry real legal weight
Ideal for: Experienced, self-sufficient sellers who want affordable MLS access with minimal overhead
I bought a few homes, so I kinda knew the process. With the help of AI, I was able to build a list of the required things and used Homecoin to list the house. No need to pay thousands of dollars to ‘real estate agents’ to sell, if you have common sense.
Terrible Company! 1. cant reach an agent!
2. listing is states show by open house, not dates listed.
3. apparently they don’t work on weekends.
8 – Houzeo ⭐️⭐️
Tech-forward platform with tiered plans
Houzeo is one of the most recognized names in the FSBO space and offers a polished platform with solid technology.
Pros: Strong technology, user-friendly interface, broad MLS syndication to Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, and Redfin
Cons: Closing percentage fees ranging from 0.5% to 1.25% can significantly erode the savings that motivated you to go FSBO in the first place
Ideal for: Sellers who prioritize software tools and step-by-step guidance and are comfortable with variable total costs.
Zackery and Eddie were very helpful with helping us list the home. They were very kind, patient and thorough. Great customer service much appreciated during a stressful time… thanks again, guys!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I used this company to sell my house. After closing, I uploaded the closing statement as instructed. I also resent it via email. Now, every single day. I receive threatening emails claiming the following:
“Your MLS penalty risk has increased! Your Closing Date has passed.” How am I going to be penalized for this company not doing their job. Save yourself the headache, and go with someone else. This has taken multiple calls, emails, etc and still not resolved!!
9 – Facebook Marketplace ⭐️⭐️
Social reach without structured tools
Facebook Marketplace has emerged as a supplementary channel for FSBO sellers, offering free listings with access to a large social audience. It’s not a dedicated real estate platform, but it can generate local buyer interest.
Pros: Free, large social audience, easy photo uploads, direct buyer messaging through a familiar interface
Cons: No MLS access, no transaction tools, no agent visibility, and listings lack the credibility of a formal real estate platform. Scam inquiries are common.
Ideal for: Sellers using it as a supplementary channel alongside a paid MLS listing — not as a standalone strategy.
There are no online customer reviews for Facebook Marketplace from trusted sources that we can find.
10 – Craigslist ⭐️⭐️
Ultra-low cost with very limited reach
Craigslist is free and easy to use, but it offers virtually no dedicated real estate tools, no MLS exposure, and an audience that skews toward bargain hunters and investors rather than traditional homebuyers.
Pros: Free, simple, and quick to set up
Cons: No MLS access, no agent visibility, high volume of lowball offers and spam, no transaction support of any kind.
Ideal for: Sellers looking for a completely free supplementary post — never as a primary listing strategy.
There are no online customer reviews for Craigslist from trusted sources that we can find.

Why Beycome Leads the Pack for St. Petersburg, Florida Sellers
1. Predictable, Lowest Total Cost ✅
St. Petersburg’s housing market has undergone one of the most striking transformations of any mid-sized Florida city over the past decade. Neighborhoods that once flew well under the radar — Kenwood, Roser Park, Midtown, Euclid-St. Paul — have seen sustained appreciation as buyers recognize their walkability, architectural character, and proximity to downtown’s thriving restaurant and arts scene. Meanwhile, waterfront communities like Snell Isle, Coquina Key, and the Broadwater corridor command prices that once belonged exclusively to larger metros.
Across all of these markets, transaction costs accumulate quickly. Beycome’s $99 flat fee cuts through that accumulation entirely. There are no closing fees, no percentage-based charges tied to your final sale price, no admin fees, and no buried conditions in the fine print.
For a St. Pete seller listing a home at $400,000 or above — and a substantial portion of today’s sellers are — the difference between Beycome and a platform charging even 0.5% at closing represents hundreds to thousands of dollars that stay in your pocket rather than flowing to a platform you’ll never need again after the transaction closes.
2. True St. Petersburg and Pinellas County MLS Coverage ✅
Some FSBO platforms connect to a single MLS database and call it sufficient. Beycome covers all of Florida’s major MLS networks by default — including My Florida Regional MLS (MFRMLS), Miami MLS, Beaches MLS, Florida Gulf Coast MLS, and Florida Keys MLS — without requiring any upgrade or additional payment. For St. Pete sellers, that means your listing reaches agents actively working buyers across Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando counties, as well as those serving buyers relocating from South Florida, the Gulf Coast, and from out of state entirely. The full buyer spectrum, activated from a single $99 listing.
3. Tools Built for the Pace of St. Pete’s Market ✅
St. Petersburg’s best-positioned homes don’t wait. In high-demand neighborhoods from the Old Northeast and Crescent Lake to newly developed bayfront condos downtown and the craftsman streets of Historic Kenwood, a well-priced listing can generate serious buyer activity within 24 to 48 hours of going live.
Beycome’s platform handles the elements that most commonly trip up FSBO sellers in Florida — coordinating with buyer agents, managing and comparing incoming offers, and organizing Florida-specific disclosure documentation — through a clean, well-organized dashboard designed for sellers who want to move quickly without missing details. In a market where responsiveness and speed directly shape your outcome, having those tools operational from day one is not optional. It is what separates a smooth, profitable close from a missed opportunity.
4. Consistent Results ✅
As of early 2026, Beycome holds a weighted average of 4.6 out of 5 stars across Google, Facebook, Zillow, and BBB reviews. Florida sellers consistently report retaining more equity at closing, completing transactions on tighter timelines, and feeling genuinely in command of their sale — rather than simply handed a listing confirmation and left to navigate the rest on their own.
Final Verdict
Beycome Is the #1 For Sale By Owner Website in St. Petersburg, Florida
St. Petersburg’s real estate market rewards sellers who show up prepared — with the right pricing, the right exposure, and the right tools. What it doesn’t reward is handing over thousands of dollars in unnecessary commissions on a transaction you’re fully capable of managing yourself. Beycome gives St. Pete homeowners everything they need to compete in this market: full MFRMLS coverage, a purpose-built FSBO platform, and a price that is exactly what it says it is — no asterisks, no surprises, no percentage waiting at the finish line.
