Why Beycome Is the #1 Choice for Columbus Home Sellers
The Best Way to Sell Your Home in Columbus, Ohio
Selling a home in Columbus, Ohio has never felt more like a strategic opportunity — and more like a high-stakes math problem — than it does right now. The city that once quietly built its identity around Ohio State football, state government jobs, and a handful of reliable insurance headquarters has become something genuinely surprising: one of the most closely watched housing markets in the entire Midwest.
The numbers tell the story clearly. Columbus entered 2026 with a median sale price of approximately $315,000–$320,000 in the broader metro area, and around $286,000 within the city proper — up roughly 5.9% year over year. The Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS logged 2,118 closings in March 2026 alone, with inventory holding at just 1.6 months of supply. That’s a market that continues to reward sellers, even as days on market have stretched to around 46–49 days and given buyers slightly more breathing room than the frenzied bidding-war years of the recent past.
For sellers, all of that demand has created real equity. And that equity belongs in your pocket — not in a listing agent’s commission check.
Which brings up the question more Columbus homeowners are asking: Why pay 2.5% to 3% of your home’s sale price just to get on the MLS?
The answer, increasingly, is: you don’t have to.
✅ Beycome is Columbus’s #1 Flat Fee MLS service for 2026.
Here’s the reality of how Columbus homes sell today: buyers find listings online first. Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin — these platforms have completely transformed how people shop for homes, from the couch, on their phones, often before they’ve spoken to a single agent. But those platforms don’t originate listings. They pull their data directly from the Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS — the central listing database that every buyer’s agent, relocation firm, and brokerage in the metro relies on to source properties for their clients. That database is exactly where your home needs to appear.
A Flat Fee MLS service gives you that same placement — the identical exposure a traditional listing agent provides — for a fraction of the cost. You retain full control of your sale, you can still offer a buyer’s agent commission to attract agent-represented buyers (which most experienced FSBO sellers wisely do), and you skip the thousands you’d otherwise hand over at closing just to get listed.
The catch? Not every Flat Fee MLS provider deserves your business. Some advertise low entry fees and quietly recoup the difference through percentage-based “compliance” or “success” charges at closing. Others run outdated platforms that make managing your listing feel like a second job. And some simply don’t have the MLS relationships or genuine local coverage to properly serve a market as layered and dynamic as Columbus.
We evaluated the top providers serving Columbus in 2026, scoring them on pricing transparency, MLS access, platform quality, customer support, and verified seller reviews from real homeowners.
Here’s our complete breakdown — and why Beycome leads the market for Columbus sellers.

I love selling my properties myself and Brokerless provided me with the tools to do it. I could not be happier!
Did not get as far as using the service because I paid twice and did not receive an email for the next steps so I messaged customer service and the actual owner Jack called me super rudely and agitated like what do you want?! I was in disbelief that this was the customer service!! Customer service is the easy part just be a decent person people are paying you for it!

Sell your home →Buy smarter
Get up to 2% back at closing
Buy any home with a Beycome agent and receive a rebate of up to 2% of the purchase price — paid to you at closing.
Buy a home →Haven’t answered calls or emails in 2 weeks on property they have listed. Easy to see why when they are trying to cover three whole states. I would recommend zillow for sale by owner section. You’ll be much better off since people will be able to contact you about your property for sale. Scam/Fraud alert to be reported to NAR. Beware your property sitting on the market, and this scammer telling you to drop the price! RED FLAG! RUN!

Limited listing. Absolutely wonderful experience with Glen and his team. Extremely supportive throughout the ‘FSBO’ process. Very responsive to all of my newb questions. Extremely knowledgeable to answer those questions. Straight talk. Unparalleled humor through the whole process was icing on the cake!
Single Realtor Dad who sacrificed time with 2 kids to show a 3 bedroom listing at 8:00pm on a cold and rainy Monday night only to find that the front door was in the 3rd bedroom. I would have considered that a living room and a 2 bedroom home. Maybe I’m crazy but we were all very disappointed.

Nash from Houzeo was great! He walk me through process.. highly recommend this company
After a 30 day experience with Houzeo, it was a trial and great error. Buyer beware. Trying to get anything listed or updated takes countless days. Simply list yourself through social media, realtor.com, zillow.com and save yourself the money and moreover the hassle. We received 0 traction with Houzeo in any way. Poor experience!
9 – ListWith Freedom ⭐️⭐️
A national flat fee MLS provider with low entry pricing, offset by a percentage-based compliance fee at closing.
Pros: Low initial cost, generally smooth listing process, experienced customer support
Cons: Closing-side compliance fees of 0.25%–0.5% that can significantly erode savings — especially on Columbus metro homes priced above $300,000
Best for: Sellers who prioritize low out-of-pocket cost at signing and can absorb the backend fee
5 stars are not enough! Ralph Harvey offers impeccable customer support. We highly recommend LWF to anyone wishing to sell their own home. Ralph and List With Freedom are the reason that real estate brokers and agents will eventually be a thing of the past. Ralph got personally involved when our transaction got a little bumpy and got things done to our satisfaction. Couldn’t have asked for more!
We didn’t agree to use list with freedom. We paid another company, got transferred to LWF, were charged another fee ee hadn’t agreed to, had to keep correcting how you misentered the property address so buyers quit visiting the wrong house. Wording on MLS confused agents and had wrong contact info so people couldn’t figure out how to contact us to show the house. Agent repeatedly didn’t respond during closing process. I would not use this service again. Have used other services of the same nature and never had problems like this.
10 – ISoldMyHouse.com ⭐️⭐️
A national flat fee MLS platform that operates in Ohio markets.
Pros: Cancel before MLS activation, national platform with broad reach
Cons: Broker compliance fees and extra costs reduce the overall value; inconsistent agent pairing in some markets
Best for: Sellers who want the option to cancel before going live and are willing to pay a modest premium for that flexibility
Excellent experience. I sold my house and saved. 17,000 in real estate commissions. The people there were great and always available. I would do it again. They supplied everything from all the paperwork we would need to the lawn sign. Great Experience!!!
Set us up with a terrible realtor, I would not recommend, the realtor, Ronnie Glomb with Your Town Realty in Morristown, nj. Was not even a member of the MLS service that our home was located, could not get out of contract, they would not give us a local realtor, a waste of $299.00, we ended up selling through Facebook Marketplace. The realtor never disclosed this to us, yes this site still uses him.

Why Beycome Leads the Pack for Columbus Sellers
1. The Savings Are Real — and in Columbus, Every Dollar Counts ✅
Columbus’s median home price of $286,000–$320,000 across the metro reflects a market that’s still growing with purpose — not speculative fever, but the kind of steady, employment-driven appreciation that holds up over time. For sellers, that means meaningful equity at stake. A 3% listing commission on a $300,000 sale is $9,000 walking out the door at closing. On a $350,000 home — common in Dublin, Worthington, or Upper Arlington — that figure climbs above $10,500.
Beycome’s $99 flat fee replaces that entire line item. There is no percentage of sale, no compliance charge, no administrative fee at closing. What you pay on the day you list is the complete, final cost.
For Columbus sellers navigating a market where precise pricing and strong presentation matter more than they did three years ago, keeping that closing-cost line as low as possible isn’t just smart — it’s the difference between a transaction that works in your favor and one that quietly erodes the equity you’ve spent years building.
2. A Platform Built for the Way Columbus Sellers Actually Live ✅
Whether you’re managing a sale from a Hilliard colonial while coordinating a move across state lines, selling a Clintonville bungalow remotely as a landlord who’s cashed out, or listing a New Albany home around a packed schedule at one of Columbus’s major employers — Intel, OhioHealth, Nationwide, JPMorgan Chase, or Ohio State — Beycome’s platform is designed to work at your pace and on your terms:
- Fast MLS activation and real-time listing management
- Built-in offer tracking with instant notifications
- Digital contracts and Ohio disclosure management
- Direct communication with buyers and buyer agents — no filtering, no delays
- Unlimited listing updates at no additional charge
- Clean, modern dashboard accessible from any device, anywhere
Everything is handled online. No office visits, no printing, no waiting for a broker to call you back.
3. Full Coverage of the Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS ✅
The Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS is the data engine that powers the entire metro’s residential real estate activity — the system every buyer’s agent, corporate relocation firm, and brokerage in Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield, Licking, Pickaway, and surrounding counties uses to find properties for their clients. A listing that isn’t in this MLS effectively doesn’t exist for the vast majority of active buyers in the market. buyer pool.
Beycome’s $99 listing places your home directly in that system, with automatic syndication to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, Homes.com, and the full network of brokerage websites serving Central Ohio buyers — including the growing number of out-of-state buyers drawn by Intel’s expanding semiconductor presence, Amazon’s logistics footprint, and Columbus’s rising national profile as one of the Midwest’s most livable and economically dynamic cities.
At $99 with zero closing fees, no competing flat fee MLS provider serving Columbus matches this combination of reach, platform quality, and pricing transparency.
Final Verdict
Beycome Is the #1 Flat Fee MLS Company in Columbus
Columbus is no longer a city people stumble into — it’s a city they choose. NAR named it a top housing hot spot. Fortune 500 companies are doubling down on their Central Ohio presence. Intel is building a $20 billion campus in the suburbs. And a generation of buyers is discovering what Columbus homeowners have known for years: this city delivers an exceptional quality of life at a price that still makes sense.
Homeowners here have built equity by making smart decisions. Choosing how you sell should be no different.
